Peru native Rosmy Alfaro was raised in California, majored in economics at UC Irvine, and served in the California National Guard for 23 years. After college, he had a successful career in the banking industry — partnering with and advising clients as the Vice President Branch Manager of several banks, including Home Savings of America and Washington Mutual. In 2005, after experiencing banking industry changes and several mergers, Rosmy heeded the advice from clients and acquaintances in the real estate business and became an agent. Rosmy’s always had a passion for helping people achieve their goals. Real estate was simply a new opportunity to do that.
Having since built a strong client base from referrals, Rosmy knows that ethical business reproduces. With over a decade of experience in the retail banking industry, he understands the need for confidentiality and clear communication. Rosmy prides himself on knowing his clients well, being available, and providing professional insight into the Bay Area market. He’s also the owner of a local tax preparation firm and often alerts his clients to changes in tax law that could impact their investments.
